The tutorials mentioned at and the others in the thread mentioned are a good starting place along with those at which are not about Expression Web at all but about the basics of HTML and CSS which is arguably more important than any Expression Web specific tutorial or book. There used to be one called something like "Web Design for the non-Professional" and "Web Design for the Non Designer" that was a good choice but I don't know if it has been updated to reflect current best practices.

I don't particularly care if the poster buys mine or not, but a book on website design is of more use for the true newbie than a book on how to use a program. It is not a web design book and no matter how well you know a program it won't create a good website for you if you don't have some fundamentals about web design. to be a PHP programer, it would step by step guide you and deploy your form.
